What does it mean when I receive an IdentiNet alert?
First, check what type of event it is. For example, if a new loan has been created in your name, the best thing to do is to immediately contact the financial institution that sent the new loan to the register and alert them about possible credit fraud. You can also contact our expert Client Center for support and advice on proceeding.
How do I find out about a new event?
When we detect an event in the monitored data, we will send you a notification email or SMS. All events can also be found in the archive of the client zone of the kolikmam.cz portal. You can set up the SMS or email notification method when you add the service to your shopping cart or anytime after logging into the client area. If you do not have either method set, you will always see all new events in the Data Monitoring service details.
Why does IdentiNet only monitor new loan origination?
This service focuses on preventing credit fraud. Therefore, the most critical event is the creation of a new loan in your name in the registers. If someone has misused your data and taken credit for you, you must act quickly. That’s why IdentiNet service includes support from the Client Center, which will advise you on how best to deal with the situation.
Can I still become a victim of identity theft if I have IdentiNet?
That's true, but IdentiNet is how to find out about the event in time to react to it. Especially when you are applying for a loan, such an event could put you at a disadvantage in the eyes of the financial institution. Every loan counts towards your creditworthiness, and as credit fraud leads to defaults, the loan provider will sooner or later start reporting your overdue debts to the registers. IdentiNet thus significantly reduces the impact of credit fraud and similar events on more than just your creditworthiness. In addition, the experts at the Client Center will provide you with the support you need.
Benefits of IdentiNet
- IdentiNet will provide a one-time Joint report CIBR+NBCIR summarizing all your commitments in the registers at the beginning of all monitoring. This will allow you to perform a detailed analysis of your credit commitments to determine whether you have become a victim of identity theft.
- IdentiNet monitors daily for any new loans in your name. If it does find any, it will alert you about this fact. Similarly, it will query the Central Execution Registry on your behalf each month to check for any foreclosures in your name. You will, therefore, receive timely alerts whenever a financing application is filed in your name or a new foreclosure is filed in your name.
- IdentiNet includes the entire NetAgent service. It alerts you when your online data is compromised through inappropriate exposure or theft.
